Partial List of Responsibilities:
•Safely install and service propane tanks, gas meters, regulators and external gas service lines.
•Install and pressure test gas service lines to ensure all pass state and local installation/permit requirements.
•Meter readings.
•Convert gas appliances from Natural Gas to LP-Gas.
•Perform and repair adjustments on commercial and residential propane equipment.
•Examine regulators, gas lines and appliance connections for possible defects or gas leaks.
•Answer customer questions.
•Daily upkeep of inventory.
•Must participate in the on-call and weekend service center.
Minimum Qualifications:
•High School Diploma required
• Must hold valid CDL Texas Drivers License with HazMat endorsement. Employer will assist with endorsement.
*Must be able to pass Texas Rail Road Commission training and obtain certification within 45 days of employment. Employer will help the right candidate with training.
•Interpersonal skills and professional demeanor required.
•Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug and alcohol test, Homeland Security criminal background check and work history background check.
•Mechanical experience ideal - preferably in the propane gas, utility natural gas, plumbing, appliance repair or HVAC industry.
•Must be able to work outdoors under all weather conditions and indoors.EEO.
